Lions Club, nonprofit looking for help to construct playground

READSBORO- The Readsboro Family Park will be getting a new playground this spring, and it’s all because of a volunteer effort spearheaded by a Whitingham nonprofit focused on healthy outdoor activities for children and families.
Kayla’s Playground and the Readsboro Lions Club are currently planning and fundraising to construct the playground at the popular Lions-owned park, which comprises 400 acres and is used for all kinds of community events, from weddings and receptions to Fourth of July festivities and fishing derbies.
