On Friday, September 25, the General Assembly of Vermont, the House and Senate, adjourned for the year. It has been a weird session, beginning with our adjournment of March 13. We had no idea what lay in store for us. Immediately, the Senate Rules Committee, led by the president pro tem, began to figure out how we could continue to meet. We first had all Senate caucuses by phone, then by Zoom. We then adjusted our rules to allow us to meet remotely.
