Humane Society encourages pet-safe plants

BRATTLEBORO- With summer right around the corner, the Windham County Humane Society knows people will be planting their gardens and beautifying their yards. But they caution to choose plants wisely because several plant species are poisonous to pets - daffodils, lily of the valley, morning glory, and oleander, to name a few.
As part of the Humane Society’s summertime pet safety campaigns, they partnered with local greenhouses to identify pet-safe plants for their shoppers.
