Hermit crabs, painting at Pettee

WILMINGTON - The Pettee Memorial Library has several events planned for the following weeks.
On Friday, July 22, join the library on the lawn at 8:30 pm for its Circus Movie Under the Stars. On Saturday, July 23, visit Pettee Library during the village circus stroll from 5 to 7 pm for some great fun doing all things circus.
Interested in unusual pets? Come to the library on Thursday, July 28 at 1 pm to meet Lilly Suponski and learn all about her pet hermit crabs, Eco and Clementine, as well as learn how to care for one of these fantastic, fun pets.
On Tuesday, August 2, learn the art of paint pouring at 5 pm. All materials will be provided. Learn three techniques and bring home three completed pieces. This activity is recommended for ages 12 and up. Registration is required by Thursday, July 28.
The library will be hosting its Golden Dome Reading Lunch Bunch book club  Tuesdays, August 2 to August 23, from 12:30 to 2 pm. Kids entering grades four to six are invited to join for lunch, book discussion, and more. Get three of the nominated Golden Dome books and lunch, do some writing or complete a project, all for free. Registration is required by Tuesday, July 26.
