Hannah Woodson named valedictorian, Bailey Boyce salutatorian
WHITINGHAM - Twin Valley Middle High School announces that Hannah Woodson has been named the valedictorian of the class of 2022. Bailey Boyce has been named salutatorian.
Woodson, the valedictorian, is the daughter of Kevin Woodson and Lacy Hughes, of Whitingham. Woodson has excelled in the classroom, where much of her success can be attributed to a very mature work ethic that places academics at the top of her priorities. She is a dedicated learner who has elected to take multiple honors and college level courses and was able to complete high school in three years. Woodson has been an important member of our Twin Valley school community and has served her class as treasurer during her senior year and represented Twin Valley at the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference. She is a kind and respectful student who is respected by her teachers and peers. Woodson will attend Simmons University where she plans to pursue a major in nursing.
Salutatorian Boyce is the daughter of James and Ashley Boyce, of Whitingham. Boyce is an exemplary student who is not afraid to speak her mind. She has been enrolled in numerous honors classes during her high school career. She has worked hard to achieve outstanding academic grades. Boyce has been a strong leader at the school by serving her class as vice president and secretary. She has also been an important member of student leadership, Wildcat Community Service Group, and Gender Equality Association. In the fall Boyce plans to attend the University of Vermont, where she will pursue a degree in studio art.
Woodson and Boyce have shown consistent commitment to academic excellence and they exemplify the good moral character that defines them as outstanding 2022 graduating seniors of Twin Valley Middle High School.
