Fortier promoted to managerial postition

BRATTLEBORO - Brattleboro Savings & Loan announced the promotion of Karen Fortier as the bank’s new deposit operations manager. Fortier has been a part of the BS&L family for seven years, working in a number of different customer-facing roles, including branch manager for both the Putney Road and Main Street locations.
Fortier’s work in the banking world actually spans 26 years, working with mortgages, commercial banking, and customer service, and she’ll be bringing all of that experience to bear in this new position. This new role carries with it a lot of responsibility; the deposit operations manager handles programs such as online banking, deposit capture, ATMs, and cash management to help customers get the resources they need.
A longtime resident of Vermont, Fortier lives in West Dover with her family, friends, and a lot of nature, which she says she needs to be happy in life. Fortier started this role earlier this summer and is already feeling at home in the position.
