Event focused on the “Golden Rule” to be held at church

“Golden Rule” the iconic Norman Rockwell mosaic set the stage for the West Dover Congregational Church’s event. Rockwell illustrated a group of people of different religions, races, and ethnicity who served as the backdrop for the inscription “Do unto other as you would have them do unto you.”

DOVER - The worship service at the West Dover Congregational Church United Church of Christ will take on a new form on Sunday, July 29. The sermon that Sunday will be experiential — a musical and artistic endeavor led by Chris Bakriges, who has drawn his inspiration for the sermon from “Golden Rule,” a painting by Norman Rockwell that depicts individuals from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and the words “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
