Destigmatizing ALZ, other dementias

BRATTLEBORO - On Thursday, December 8, at American Legion Post 5, 32 Linden Street, join the Alzheimer’s Association Vermont Chapter for “We’re ALZ in this together: Destigmatizing Dementia in Windham County.” The event will consist of lunch followed by a community conversation about topics such as: what is it like to be diagnosed with and live with Alzheimer’s or another dementia; what it is like to care for someone with dementia; upcoming state and federal policy priorities; what services are available in Vermont and in the community and what services are needed; and how to get involved with the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementias.
