When I moved  to Brookdale Filmore Pond in October 2023, I commenced what has felt like a to-the-death struggle with the TV and internet provider here, Comcast Xfinity.   It would take all the pages of this newspaper to explain the various problems that we could not straighten out.  The technicians here in Bennington could not make the thing work, so Xfinity even sent a tech guy from Hinsdale, NH, (a long drive).  That man had been with the company 20 years and told me that the company grew so fast that mistakes along the way were made and never fixed.
