Aging in Place: Humor is the axle grease of a bumpy world

I firmly believe that humor is the axle grease that keeps the world bumping along as more-or-less smoothly as it does. I cannot imagine a world absent humor. For me, personally, the other key element to a good life is the companionship of a pet, specifically, in my case, a dog. My current partner is the 18th one since I was a baby, which averages out to 4.7 years per dog.
