Living among all these seniors in congregate living, I am getting quite the dose of reality on this getting old business. I had not expected such a string of deaths, suddenly empty apartments with furniture being moved out, and then immediately, lo and behold, a new resident arrives.  Maybe it was the winter.  It seems like old people give up the ghost more in the winter months. I just did not expect such a brisk turnover.
