Well, old buddies, I am certainly aging and for a recent 10-day stretch most emphatically in one place.  I tested “mildly positive” for our old friend COVID on Friday, January 19, and the doors clanged shut.  I am not ill, and have had no symptoms (besides my ever so familiar winter postnasal-drip cough).  If you live in a building with scores of elderly people, probably 90% of whom require assistance for either a physical or cognitive disability, there are rules that must be followed.  My apartment door clanked open on Tuesday, January 30.
