Advocates inspired by recovery conference

JOHNSON - Rhondi Gleason, emergency room recovery coach, and Elizabeth McEwen, recovery coach from Voices of Hope, attended the Vermont Recovery Leadership conference held at Jenna’s House on Monday, April 4. They were inspired by the presenters. State Sen. Kesha Ram Hinsdale gave great advice on advocating with the Legislature. Sam Quinones gave an inspiring presentation from his two latest books, “Dreamland” and “The Least of Us,” as did Johan Hari, author of “Chasing the Scream” and “Lost Connections.”
