Activities for kids at museum open house

MARLBORO - Join the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum this Saturday, August 20, for their annual open house. There will be free admission from 10 am to 3 pm, up-close animal encounters and activities for the kids all day.
The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum is conveniently located on Route 9 at the Hogback scenic overlook. Home to the largest collection of native birds and mammals in Vermont, over 250 species are on exhibit. Right next door, families can visit the Hogback Mountain Country Store, Beer Naked Pizza, and Vermont Distillers or hike on the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area.
