Old Home Week organizers gearing up for celebration
WILMINGTON - Nicki Steel, the chair of the Wilmington Old Home Week Committee, says some festivity is in order.
“We need a party,” she says. “The last 10 years have not been easy. It’s time to celebrate.”
A celebration is indeed in the works, and Steel is at the helm. On July 30, 2020, Old Home Week, the once-every-10-years celebration in Wilmington, will kick off. Steel is the chair of the committee that has been planning the celebration since September 2018.
