Local freeskier ready for second Winter Olympics
DOVER - At just 21 years old, Caroline Claire is looking forward to her second appearance on the US Olympic Freeski Slopestyle team this month in Beijing, China.
Claire is the daughter of Edward and Allyson Claire, of West Dover. The Claire family have been skiing at Mount Snow since the early ‘70s.
“As soon as she could walk, we had Caroline on skis, pulling her around the slopes at Mount Snow,” her father said in an interview.
