DOVER - The 2021 Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival is currently seeking vendors. This year’s festival takes place on September 25 at Mount Snow, and is bookended by two other events: the Wine Stroll & Soup Contest in Wilmington on Friday, September 24, and the Vermont Wildlife Festival at Mount Snow, Sunday, September 26. Wine events will take place throughout Deerfield Valley over the weekend.
The festival was created to be a destination event and is promoted and packaged to late summer and fall travelers and day trippers, as well as local Vermonters.
The Wine & Harvest Festival celebrates the products, food, art, distilleries, and wineries of Vermont from 10 am to 5 pm under gorgeous tents at the Mount Snow Resort. There were over 3,750 guests in 2019, and planners are hoping for over 5,000 guests this year thanks to increased marketing efforts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for artisans from across Vermont to come together to showcase their crafts. In 2019, there were more than 80 Vermont vendors made up of 21 Vermont wineries and distilleries including award-winning Shelburne Vineyards, North Branch Vineyards, Whistle Pig Distillers, Caledonia Spirits, as well as cooks, crafters, musicians, and artists.
As in past years, the number of vendors selling similar products will be restricted to just four, with preference given to past vendors. The deadline this year is July 26 for all application materials. Vendors can complete the application at www.vtwinefest.com.
