Wilmington library auctions off paintings

Spengler’s painting for auction

WILMINGTON- Pettee Memorial Library is holding a fundraiser for the planned renovation project. The library has six paintings on display to be auctioned off. They were generously donated by local artist Sue Spengler.
Through the month of August, the library will hold a silent auction for all six pieces.  The winning bids will be announced on Labor Day weekend.  The minimum bid for each piece is $100 and bids should be placed at the library.
Paintings will be on display at the library until Labor Day. For more information or pictures of the art visit petteelibrary.org.
