WILMINGTON- Twin Valley held their final joint school board meeting Tuesday evening.
The joint school district, formed by Whitingham and Wilmington as a six-12 district in 2004, and expanded to a K-12 district in 2012, will cease to exist on Saturday, June 30. On Sunday, July 1, the Twin Valley Unified Union School District will officially begin operation. Although the change from joint contract to union district means there will be a few changes to governance and financial operations, for students, parents, and teachers the transition will be seamless.
