Weekend a big milestone

Vermont has passed an important milestone in its attempts to return to some semblance of normal.
The Memorial Day weekend, always seen as the kickoff to the summer season, this year also serves as a significant mile marker along the pandemic highway. It was the first major holiday weekend in which Vermont was open for business, albeit in a very modified way.
Following just about two months of business shutdowns and work-from-home orders caused by attempts to mitigate the coronavirus spread, many of the state’s business sectors have been allowed to reopen in some form.
