Vermonters snub Trump with votes for Haley
Here’s a trivia question for a few years from now: Which state held the only presidential primary won by Nikki Haley in 2024?
The answer, of course, is Vermont.
Honestly, Haley winning this state shouldn’t have come as too much of a surprise. Vermont isn’t really a Republican state any more, at least not when it comes to presidential politics. And it certainly isn’t a Trump state. It’s a Democratic state which generally leans to the left, in some places far to the left.
