For most towns around the valley, Town Meeting is in the books for 2023.  Following two years of uncertainty over the future of Town Meeting, driven by pandemic-related health concerns over large gatherings of people, voters were more than willing to get together in a room to talk and vote.  People seemed more than willing to swap Facetime for a face-to-face meeting. 
From what we’ve gathered from reports and observations, the future of Town Meeting as a direct, interactive form of democracy is alive and well.  Reports of its demise may have been greatly exaggerated.
