It’s Town Meeting season! Again!
This week kicked off round two of the 2022 Town Meeting season. Thanks to the ongoing pandemic, the Vermont Legislature passed a bill earlier this year that, as in 2021, that allowed municipalities and school districts across the state to postpone their meetings, switch from in-person to Australian ballot, or choose a combination of the options. In short, the coronavirus has once again disrupted another custom and tradition, this time Town Meeting, and Vermonters are finding creative solutions to deal with it.
