Monday is Memorial Day. While the three-day weekend serves as the traditional start of the summer season, the last day of the three is really about honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States while in the military.
It’s easy to get caught up in all that takes place around Memorial Day. There are school formals and graduations, sport seasons ending and beginning, barbecues to plan, and all kinds of events to enjoy.
