Remembering the fallen and a grim anniversary

Monday is Memorial Day, a day to pay our respects to all of the veterans who have served in the military. It is also a day to remember and honor those who have died in service to our country.  We will celebrate their service and sacrifices with parades, services, dedications, barbecues, baseball games, and countless other ways.  But it really boils down to a day for recognizing those who have served for what they have contributed to the United States.   It’s a day to say “thank you all for your service.”
