Bill may finally address “Forgotten Kingdom”

This week the Vermont House of Representatives passed a new telecommunications bill that attempts to leverage $150 million in COVID relief money from the American Rescue Plan into something that will eventually lead to the long-hoped-for broadband buildout across the state.
Many around the state are hopeful that this will be the golden ticket to fulfilling the promise of affordable, accessible broadband for all in Vermont. Count us in that number.
