Articles bolster the public’s right to know
This week’s edition includes articles about Cap 1 LLC investing in Peak Resorts, to the point of become the majority shareholder. We want to be clear about why we are doing this. We feel the public has a right to know that the majority shareholder in the valley’s largest employer is directly tied to one of the country’s largest opioid manufacturers.
There’s certainly nothing illegal about what CAP 1 has done. It’s all perfectly above board and the information about the company and its investments is readily available for anyone interested.
