Twin Valley board looking for savings

WHITINGHAM- Twin Valley School Board members asked principals to propose cuts to the first draft of the 2022 budget at their work session Tuesday evening.
The request followed a briefing in which board members learned how to use a spreadsheet tool, created by financial consultant Michael Nadeau, that allows users to adjust certain budget factors to see how they affect the amount of the budget subject to the Act 68 “penalty box.”  Superintendent Barbara Anne Komons-Montroll said the preloaded numbers in the spreadsheet were “hypothetical.”
