Vaccines for veterans

Vets in the area can get shots locally
Westminster- The White River Junction Veterans Affairs Healthcare System and the Vermont National Guard continue their partnership for the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out. On April 16 the White River Junction VA will be administering first doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at the Westminster Armory. This clinic will only be for scheduled appointments.
Veterans and preregistered US Department of Homeland Security employees, all ages, are eligible.
Veterans who would like to enroll should call (802) 295-9363, ext. 5118, or email the enrollment office at to begin the enrollment application. DHS employees must register with their DHS leadership prior to scheduling an appointment.
Everyone must schedule an appointment by calling (802) 296-5151.

Vets, spouses, and caregivers eligible
White River Junction-  The Veterans Affairs Healthcare System is providing COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone who served in the military, and their caregivers and spouses, under the authority granted by the Save Lives Act, signed by President Joe Biden on March 24.
The expanded authority depends on readily available COVID-19 vaccine supply and requires the Department of Veterans Affairs  to continue to prioritize veterans enrolled in VA care.
To maintain continued health and safety during the pandemic please do not visit a VA facility for a COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment. Masks and physical distancing are required at all locations.
