COVID-19 testing offered

BRATTLEBORO- ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care is now offering COVID-19 testing at select centers for high-risk patients only, as supplies are available. This includes the location at 1154 Putney Road.
Patients experiencing symptoms associated with lower respiratory illness, such as fever, shortness of breath, and persistent cough, will be examined and evaluated by our medical teams to first rule out seasonal flu.
If a test is negative, ClearChoice may recommend testing for COVID-19, available at select ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care centers, or at another local test site. Due to extreme national shortages in testing supplies, only high-risk patients will be recommended to test for COVID-19. Low-risk patients who have mild symptoms and test negative for the flu will be directed to self-quarantine for 14 days, per CDC guidelines.
ClearChoice officials say that testing is covered by most insurance plans or affordable rates, as low as $67 per test, can be offered for those who do not have insurance.
All ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care centers are following strict protocols and taking extra safety measures to protect our patients, communities, and team so that they can continue to evaluate and treat all urgent medical needs.
In the coming days and weeks, ClearChoice will be implementing online registration at all centers to better protect patients and teams by minimizing any possibility of exposure to illness.
