Jazz concert brings local talent to hall

WILMINGTON- The Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Jazz Concert Series continues its season on Saturday, August 24, at 8 pm, to benefit the Pool Learning Center.
Vocalist Robin Lloyd joins pianist Chris Bakriges, bassist Mark Dunlap, and drummer Billy Arnold in a program of jazz and blues.
Longtime Vermont resident Lloyd, the daughter of actor Sam Lloyd and niece of Emmy-award winner Christopher Lloyd, attended Green Mountain Union High School and studied voice at Berklee College of Music and musical theater at Emerson College.
The Pool Learning Center’s mission is to provide professional literacy instruction and support to students with learning differences, their families, and their educators.
Hear great music in a cabaret-style setting of Historic Memorial Hall, 14 West Main Street. Admission is by free-will donation at the door.
