Final performance by Blanche Moyse Chorale
BRATTLEBORO - Sunday, April 28, marks the final performance by the Blanche Moyse Chorale.
The 4 pm concert at the Brattleboro Music Center will include two works by J.S. Bach: the familiar motet “Jesu, meine Freude,” and Cantata BWV 23 (“Du wahre Gott und Davids Sohn”), as well as the lovely “Musikalische Exquien,” by Heinrich Schütz, the first known requiem in German. The chorale will be led by conductor Mark Nelson.
