Dancin’ for some dollas

WILMINGTON- The Wings charitable foundation is hosting a community contra dance at 6:30 pm, on Saturday, December 15, at Memorial Hall, 14 West Main Street.
Music will be provided by an all-star band of traditional musicians, with caller and accordian player Andy Davis joined by Laurie Indenbaum on fiddle and Jim Fownes  on piano. Between them, these master musicians have over 100 years of playing experience.
All dances will be taught and all ages are welcome to this community dance. The evening will also include performances at intermission by Wings dance troupes and guest musicians. There will be crafts for kids, and refreshments available by donation.
The suggested donation for admission is $8 per person or $20 per family, and will benefit Wings Community programming.
