Contra dancing with live music

PUTNEY- A traditional New England contra dance with live music will be held on Saturday, August 31, at Pierce’s Hall on East Putney Falls Road, off Route 5, two miles north of Putney Village.
A beginners’ session will run from 7:30 to 8 pm, with dancing until 10:30 pm. All dances will be taught, no partner is necessary.
Admission is a $10 suggested donation. Beginners are welcome. For more information call (802) 387-0163.
