Collegiate A Cappella concert benefits museum


Tufts Beelzebubs will be among the a cappella groups performing for the Brattleboro Museum & Arts Center at the Latchis Theatre in February.

BRATTLEBORO-  Early-bird tickets are now on sale for the 17th annual Collegiate A Cappella Concert, a benefit for the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center taking place at the Latchis Theatre on Saturday, February 8, at 7:30 pm.
Early-bird pricing is available at a 10% discount through November 30 at brattleboromuseum.org or (802) 257-0124, ext.101. Regular-price tickets will cost $10 to $50.
The concert will feature six groups, two of which are currently confirmed - the multicultural, multigenre Univoz Vocal Ensemble, based in Boston and featuring Brattleboro’s own Ian Epstein, and the award-winning Tufts Beelzebubs, whose alumni include BMAC director Danny Lichtenfeld. The remaining groups will be announced shortly.
The Saturday, February 8 concert at the Latchis Theatre will be preceded by the High School A Cappella warm-up concert at BMAC the previous night. During Gallery Walk on Friday, February 7, at 7:30 pm, local high school groups will perform in the museum’s Wolf Kahn & Emily Mason Gallery. Tickets are $5 at the door, free for youth 18 and under.
