DOVER- The Mount Snow Brewers Festival is one of the premier events of its kind in the Northeast, named one of “The 20 Best Summer Destinations In Ski Country” by Freeskier magazine. This year’s event, Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2, will see nearly 50 different breweries on hand, pouring their beers and ciders from 100-plus different taps.
As always, there will be tons of great food options on the festival grounds with a huge barbecue on Cuzzins deck along with vendors whipping up kettle korn, crepes, waffles, and a few other surprises to satiate an appetite.
Quality live music will be on stage throughout the event starting on Saturday with a performance by Brewers Festival favorite Jeff Tuohy Band rocking out upbeat covers and groovy originals that keep people dancing, with more live music from Acoustica,  Elliot St Alibi, and Kwame Binea Shakedown on Sunday.
Back again this year is the always popular team T-shirt contest where the team with the most creative T-shirts, as voted on by the public, get free admission to the 11th annual Winter Brewers Festival in April. Teams must meet at the 60th anniversary chair near the Bluebird Express on Saturday at 1:30 pm or 4:30 pm. A team can have as many people as they like, but the prize will be limited to a maximum of 10 entries to the Winter Brewers Festival.
Start the Brewers Festival weekend off by burning a few calories in support of a great cause. For the fifth year, Mount Snow and the American Cancer Society have teamed up for the Hops For Hope 5K, a fun run with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The top fundraiser will receive a 2018/19 Mount Snow season pass.
