The department members had training on how to operate the new truck on Monday. The truck is a five-person cab with four seats that are set up with Scott Air Packs ready to be put on in route. It’s equipped with a Jaws of Life and a Vent saw for venting the roof, however, Whitingham will still have mutual aid responding with theirs to assist. A few other special features of the truck are the backup camera and remote-controlled lights above the cab.
