Writing support to help process grief after a death
BRATTLEBORO- A new writing support group for adults who have experienced any kind of death loss begins Thursday, February 13, from 3 to 5 pm. The group will meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month and is limited to six people.
Writing experience is not required, just an open mind and willingness to try this process to work through grief. The group will be facilitated by Walter Slowinski and Rick Wilhite. Participation is free of charge and open to anyone in the community grieving the death loss of a loved one, no matter when or where the loss occurred.
The group will meet at the hospice office at 191 Canal Street. Interested individuals must meet with Lars Hunter, bereavement program coordinator, prior to joining the group. Call him at (802) 257-0775, ext. 104, for a pre-group appointment.
