Volunteers sought to help at upcoming blood drive

WILMINGTON- The Red Cross is seeking volunteers for the blood drive that will be held at Memorial Hall, 14 West Main Street, on Monday, November 26.
The Red Cross is looking for one or two people to help with registration, greeting, and chatting with donors from 3 to 5 pm. Reception volunteers welcome donors, get them signed in and organized, and offer required reading material.  Hospitality volunteers serve refreshments, chat with donors, and get help should a donor not be feeling well.
On-the-job training and training materials will be provided. Blood drives are typically four to six hours long. Volunteers who want to do half shifts are welcome. Interested parties should call Alice Drislane at (802) 497-6807 or email Alice.Drislane@redcross.org.
