Two scholarship opportunities available for high school seniors

DEERFIELD VALLEY- There are two scholarship opportunities available for high school seniors, offered by the Rotary Club of Deerfield Valley.
The first is the Frank Spencer Achievement Award. Residents of the following towns are eligible for this scholarship: Dover, Halifax, Jamaica, Marlboro, Readsboro, Searsburg, Stratton, Wardsboro, Whitingham, and Wilmington.
The second scholarship opportunity is the Dennis Butchko Achievement Award. Residents of the following towns are eligible for this scholarship: Dover, Halifax, Jamaica, Marlboro, Readsboro, Searsburg, Stratton, Wardsboro, Whitingham, and Wilmington. Preference will be given to applicants from Readsboro or those entering the field of education.
Scholarship applications are available at Twin Valley Middle High School from Denise Piffard in the guidance office, or email Sarah Shippee at clnsweep@sover.net. The deadline to apply for these scholarships is Wednesday, May 15. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
