Tons of blue-themed fun still happening in town

WILMINGTON- The annual Blueberry Block Party on South Main Street will be held on Saturday, August 3, from 5 to 8 pm. The Block Party will feature live music, crafts, food, and fun for everyone.
Wyld Nightz Band will perform from a flatbed truck at the corner of South Main Street and Route 9. There will also be a pie eating contest. Thirty lucky contestants of all ages can sign up on-site at the Block Party, and the contest will take place at 6 pm.
There will be local food vendors selling everything from lobster rolls to cotton candy, with blueberry treats galore. Visit local craft vendors along South Main Street. The Friends of Pettee Memorial Library will host their annual book sale on the library lawn, and the library will sponsor blue-themed lawn games and face painting for children.
In case of rain, the event will move indoors to the Old High School at 1 School Street. For more information visit www.wilmingtonworksvt.com,  www.vermontblueberry.com or the Wilmington Works Facebook page.
