Abbie Corse at the Corse Farm with some dairy cows.

Whitingham- Do you buy Organic Valley or Cabot dairy products? Then chances are you’ve sampled milk from contented local cows. For over 150 years, the Corse family has operated a dairy farm in Whitingham. On Monday, February 24, at 6:30 pm, Abbie Corse will visit the Whitingham-Halifax Lions at Dumaine House Retreat Center in Jacksonville to share stories about the family history and the challenges of dairy farming today. She will also speak about her family’s commitment to organic farming and sustainable agriculture.
This presentation is free and open to all. Dinner is available afterward at 7 pm for $13. Reservations needed for dinner, call (802) 368-2601.
