Talk on how the opioid crisis is hitting the community
WILMINGTON- Windham County, like other parts of the United States, is being hit hard by the opioid crisis and organizers want to know how it is specifically affecting the local community.
Local voices and stories are important. The public is invited to a facilitated conversation to learn about the community’s collective experience, what is working well, and how to improve on Tuesday, May 28 starting at 5:30 pm, at the Old School Community Center, 1 School Street.
A light dinner will be served. If you are able to attend, please RSVP so we can plan for food. If people need childcare or assistance with transportation, please let organizers know. A limited number of stipends are available to those in need.
This conversation is supported by the Windham County Consortium On Substance Use and the Wilmington Opioid Task Force.
