Student scholarships offered, deadline coming up soon
MONTPELIER – The deadline for applications to the League of Women Voters of Vermont Winona Smith Scholarship is Wednesday, April 30.
Three $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate financial need, scholastic achievement, and come highly recommended by their teacher. Individuals enrolling at an accredited vocational-technical or trade school or a two- or four-year college or university are eligible. Scholarship recipients will be announced on Sunday, June 1.
