WARDSBORO- The Wardsboro History Group will be the focus of an exhibit at the Wardsboro Public Library, sharing many framed photos of scenes from the town’s past.
The photo committee of the History Group has been developing old glass plates and negatives for many years. Some of the group began working on glass plates over 30 years ago before the History Group was even organized or incorporated.  The photo group, which now consists of Bob and Janet LeBlond, Danny Hescock, Charlie Marchant, Jane Robinson, Lester Dunklee, and Jan Hull, meets one night a week spending time processing, discussing, and identifying old photos of Wardsboro and the surrounding area.  All are interested in history and in preserving the ephemera that show people, places, and things from the past.
On Sunday, March 10, at 3 pm, a slide show will be presented at the Wardsboro Library, 170 Main Street, to show even more of the old photos. All are welcome. The photos are also available for viewing during library hours.
