Rep. visits with residents
NEWFANE- On Saturday, January 12, from11am to 12 pm, Rep. Emily Long, Windham-5, will be available to listen to constituents from Newfane, Townshend, and Marlboro at the Moore Free Library, 23 West Street. Vermont state representatives do not have local offices, so this is a great way to meet legislators and share concerns.
On Saturday, January 26, from 1:30 to 3 pm, Kit Barry, director of the ephemera archive for American studies, will be at the library to give a talk on ephemera in general and Newfane and West River Valley ephemera in particular. Barry will also share information about the ephemera archive and how people can donate their materials or share their time as volunteers.
