Pumpkin-carving party open to all

WILMINGTON- On Sunday, October 21, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, the public is invited to join Wilmington Works and the TVMHS Wildcat Club for a community pumpkin-carving party to decorate the Riverbank Park for the annual downtown trick-or-treating.
Twenty-five pumpkins will be provided, and some carving tools will be available. Those who have carving tools are encouraged to bring them. Those who choose to bring their own pumpkins are welcome to do so.
The pumpkins will be lit the week following carving and will be on display at the annual trick-or-treating on Wednesday, October 31, from 4 to 6 pm.
Children and families are welcome to take their own jack-o’-lantern home after 6 pm on Halloweent if they wish.
