WILMINGTON - The Deerfield Valley Lions Club in the Old School Community Center (OSEC) meeting room hosts Hugh and Jeanne Joudry’s slide presentation of their 50 years living at the summit of Stratton Mountain’s fire tower, on Monday, March 17, at 6:30 pm.
They began at the tower in 1968 as fire lookouts for the Vermont Department of Forest and Parks and continued on with the Forest Service, as well as being summit caretakers for the Green Mountain Club of Vermont until they retired recently.
