Peace, goodwill dinner Saturday

NEWFANE- On Saturday, December 1, the volunteer NewBrook Fire Department is hosting its 16th annual Peace and Goodwill dinner and silent auction at the firehouse on VT Route 30. Dinner is provided by Buddy Bruder and tickets are $12 per adult or $6 for children 12 and under.
There will be more than 200 silent auction items ranging from gift certificates for goods and services, to arts and crafts, furniture, household items, and much more. Included in this year’s auction are stays at Newfane’s Four Columns Inn and the Tree House Village Inn as well as a one day’s service from Carr Tree Service.   
The department services Newfane and Brookline.  Admission to the auction is free. Doors open at 5:30 pm.  Auction items and sponsorship donations are still being accepted.
