Park Carrier recognized as a Melvin Jones Fellow

RUTLAND- On Saturday, May 4, Park Carrier was named a Melvin Jones Fellow by Lions Clubs International Foundation in recognition of his commitment to serving the community. The fellowship, named after the founder of the LCIF, is one of the foundation’s highest recognitions, honoring the commitment to humanitarian service.
Carrier is a member of the Readsboro Lions Club. He recently received a commemorative plaque and lapel pin at the Vermont Lions District 45 Convention, acknowledging his dedication to the foundation’s humanitarian goals.  
As a Melvin Jones Fellow, Carrier becomes a part of the growing network of individuals who are committed to improving the quality of life for people locally and globally.
